"The athletes are going to fight for medals and are ready to do so" by Dr. Mutangana Dieudonne, the Vice President of NPC Rwanda and head of delegation for Paralympic team in Congo Brazzaville 2015 All African Games.

Rwanda Paralympic Team started to participate in All African Games since 2003 Abuja - Nigeria in Athletics and Powerlifting, 2007 Algiers - Algeria in Athletics and Goal Ball, 2011 Maputo - Mozambique in Athletics then 2015 Brazzaville - Congo in Athletics and Powerlifting.

Rwanda Paralympic Team has 3 medals out of 4 medals Rwanda counts from All African Games by Muvunyi Hermas in 400m and 800m, Gold and Silver respectively in 2011 at Maputo Games, And 1987 Silverat Nairobi Games by Marcianne Mukamurenzi in 10,000m.

I have to increase my medal tali from African Games and keep the continental record in 400m

By Muvunyi Hermas, before flying to Brazzaville for his 3rd African Games. NPC Rwanda believe that all athletes in this competition are going to bring medals for Rwanda because 5 out of 7 have participated in one of last African /Games. In addition to that, they are well prepared physically, mentally and economically.

The athletes are looking for qualification to Rio2016 Olympic and Paralympic Games. 12 women players of Sitting Volleyball already booked their places in Rio, individual athletes in Powerlifting and Athletics are still looking for that and competitions in which they may get it are All African Games and Athletics World Championships in Doha 2015.

Note that in London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games, Paralympic Delegation had 14 male athletes in Sitting Volleyball, Athletics and Powerlifting. Rwanda has BRONZE medal from Athens Paralympic Games by Nkundabera Jean de Dieu, the only medal Rwanda has at that level of sport competition.
